Om Peter Westrup — Fotograf Malmö

Peter Westrup is a Malmö-based photographer working across Skåne and southern Sweden, with more than three decades of experience in commercial, editorial, and portrait photography. He has been a regular contributor to Swedish and Scandinavian magazines and publications throughout his career.

His work encompasses portraiture, architecture, reportage, and landscape. Peter has photographed writers, musicians, artists, and public figures for a wide range of clients and organizations, including Alfa Laval, White, SAS, IKEA, SJ, E.ON, Norwegian, Situation Sthlm, TUI, Råängen, Nordea, Wihlborgs, Tetra Pak, PostNord, Faktum, and others.

Peter works both digitally and with analog film, and often returns to film for its distinctive tonality and tactile working process.

He is also the author of Kullait — a photobook on the geology of the Kullaberg peninsula, a series of black-and-white analogue photographs and silver gelatin darkroom prints, with an essay by Mikael Calner, professor of geology at Lund University.
